Rock Island resident and Van Buren County native Terry Franklin McKeehan, 55, was born April 21, 1956 and died May 23 at his residence following an extended illness.
The owner of Bone Cave Roofing and member of the Baptist Church, he was the son of the late Jack Franklin and Samantha Green McKeehan. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Margaret Ann McKeehan.
He was married to Mary Nunley McKeehan of Rock Island. In addition to his wife, he is survived by two children, Sandra West and husband Tim and Randal Hillis, both of McMinnville; two grandchildren, Jason and Sean Finger, both of McMinnville; great-grandson, Gavin Finger of McMinnville; four brothers and sisters-in-law, Bruce and Cindy McKeehan, David and Tara Clark and Jack McKeehan Jr., all of McMinnville, and Danny and Teresa McKeehan of Spencer; two sisters and brother-in-law, Oma Eller of McMinnville and Penny and Carl Brimer of Rock Island; several nieces and nephews and mother-in-law, Lillie Nunley of McMinnville.
Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday in High’s Chapel with Wayne Sullivan officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Zion Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. until 9 p.m. Thursday, and 9 a.m. until time of service Friday at High’s.
