McMinnville resident and Warren County native Steve Wayne Scott, 57, was born Oct. 20, 1953 and died Aug. 2 at Centennial Medical Center in Nashville following a brief illness. The owner of Green Valley Nursery and member of the Baptist Church, he was the son of Jean Scott of McMinnville and the late Osban Scott. In addition to his mother, he is survived by one daughter, Jeanann Scott of McMinnville, brother and sister-in-law Marlin and Sheila Scott of McMinnville, three nieces, one nephew, two great-nephews, aunts and uncles Wilma Smartt, H.B. and Joyce Scott, Priceford Scott and Estelle Roberts, all of McMinnville, Abedine and Rachel Scott of Beersheba Springs, and Randall Scott of Grundy County.
