McMinnville resident and Coffee County native Shirley Ann Evans, 71, was born Nov. 24, 1942 and died Oct. 21 following an extended illness. A retired special education teacher’s aide with the Warren County School System and a member of Madison Street Baptist Church, she was the daughter of the late Roy and Beatrice Whitmire Baker. She was married to Larry Evans, who preceded her in death.
