McMinnville resident Shelvy Jean Bouldin, 52, died unexpectedly Nov. 19 at River Park Hospital.
A phlebotomist and a member of the Baptist faith, she was the daughter of Mary L. (Kuykendall) and John C. Turner and is survived by her husband, James E. Bouldin; daughter and son-in-law, Jennifer N. and Josh Lane of Colona, Ill., son and daughter-in-law, Josh E. and Stephanie Bouldin of Colona; sisters and brothers-in-law, Wanda K. Turner of Moline, Ill, Linda L. and Mark Hudson of Moline, Ill., Cheryl D. Turner of Rock Island, Ill., Cindy M. and Adam Walker of Manchester; brother and sister-in-law, John C. and Sara Turner Jr. of Moline; several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends; and grandchildren, Kegan and Caleb Lane, Desirae and Destiny Bouldin. She was preceded in death by grandparents, John and Ella Turner, Lee and Lorene Kuykendall.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. today at Gardens of Memory Funeral Home with Tony Smedley officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. View Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
