Mimi Hennessee died late Thursday afternoon, June 2 in West Palm Beach, Fla.
Our family lost the sunshine and joy of our lives. Our sweet, precious Sheila “Mimi” Hennessee died late Thursday afternoon, June 2 in West Palm Beach, Fla.She was the youngest child, born in 1945, of an old, Southern, Knoxvillian family, John Rupert and Eula Hansard Mynatt, who have since preceded her along with her adored sister, Jean Dumas, who claimed her glory in 2010.Sheila leaves her devoted husband, David, son of Bert and Lucile Byars Hennessee, (whose Hennessee family has been in Warren County since its formation over 200 years ago); an older brother, John Mynatt Jr., of Palm Coast, Fla., three grieving children, Tracy Swiatek of Punta Gorda, Fla., and partner, Peggy Foster; Trudi, of Fishers Island, N.Y., wife to Christopher Edwards and Matthew Swiatek of Dandridge, three grandchildren; Andrew Edwards, Whitney Edwards, Trevor Swiatek and several nephews and nieces.Mimi was loved and was always fun to be with and her happy spirit put everyone at ease. Her children were the center of her life and they loved their mother dearly.
