Rock Island resident and Starke County, Ind., native Sharon Kay Patrick Measels, 64, was born Dec. 18, 1953 and died April 10 at St. Thomas River Park Hospital following an extended illness. A homemaker, she was the daughter of the late Sherman and Grace Rowe Patrick. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four sisters, Catherine Back, Shirley Howell, Mary Jane Parrish and Daisey Detter; and four brothers, Payne, David, James and Robert Patrick.She was married Jan. 11, 2017 to Marion E. Measels of Rock Island.
