Huntland resident and a Warren County native, Sarah Lee Pack Milstead, 74, was born Dec. 25, 1944 and died June 14 in Huntland, Tenn., with the love of her family, following an extended illness.
She was a homemaker with a love of gardening, family and caring for others. A member of the First Church of Jesus Christ of Apostolic Faith, she was the daughter of the late Clifton and Bobbie Adams Pack. She was married to Charlie Wayne Milstead on Feb. 24, 1961. He preceded her in death on Dec. 3, 2013.
She is survived by two children, daughter Jena Milstead (Rick Dekker) of Green Bay, Wis., son Michel (Laura) Milstead of Huntland, seven grandchildren, Matthew Kesey of Payton, Colo., Natasha (Justin) Cottello of Berlin, Wis., Brandon Myers of Colorado Springs, Colo., Shawna Milstead of Decherd, Joshua Milstead, Austin and Aaron Williams of Huntland, and seven great-grandchildren, two brothers, James and Charles Pack, and one sister, Reba (Michael) Brown, all of McMinnville, and several nieces, nephews and special friends.
Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Sunday, June 16, at High’s Chapel with Jason Nunley officiating. Interment will follow at Shellsford Cemetery. Visitation will be 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday. A special thank you to Mrs. Betty Duncan, her family and staff, for the care and compassion shown Sarah and her family over the past months. You are truly an Angel on earth.
