McMinnville resident and Warren County native Sarah Jean Ramsey, 85, was born Aug. 15, 1927 and died March 8 at River Park Hospital following an extended illness.Mrs. Ramsey was a homemaker and a member of East End Drive Church of Christ. She was married to Clyde William Ramsey, who preceded her in death July 31, 1989. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents and one son, Douglas Wayne Ramsey.She is survived by three children, Karl Ramsey and Rita Ramsey, both of McMinnville, and Vicki (Mitchell) Biles of Jackson; four grandchildren, Cherlisa (Gabriel) Reynolds of Fayetteville, N.C., Chris M. Biles of Nashville, Torrell Ramsey of LaVergne, and Chernae Biles of Jackson, and three great-grandchildren, Jaden, Brianna and Gabrielle, all of North Carolina.Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday in High’s Chapel with Phillip Smith Jr., officiating.
