Sarah Jane Stoner, 71, of Morrison (Smartt Station community) died Thursday, Jan. 13, at her residence.


She was born Dec. 27, 1950, in Athens, AL, was a homemaker, and was preceded in death by son Jimmy Lynn Stoner, grandchildren William Parker Turner and Jimmy Weston Stoner, and brothers Curtis Willard and Chester Williams.


Survivors include her husband Windell Stoner, their children Vickie Donelson, Jackie Stoner, Sherry Turner (Kory Smith), and Teresa Stoner (Kevin), grandchildren Alisha (James) Carr, Paul Turner (Paige),


Brandi Turner, Trisha Donelson, Shelby Cagle (Tony), Greg Donelson, Brayden McLaughlin, and Aiden and Emeri Cummings, great-grandchildren Kayne, Kaylee, and Kenzi Turner, Weslynn Carr, Kaiah, Krymson, and Khyren Turner, brothers Kenneth (Ann) Willard and John “Monk” Willard, son-in-law Brian McLaughlin, and special friend Melissa Nunley. Many nieces, nephews, family members, and friends also survive.


Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 20, at McMinnville Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Bethany Cemetery. The Stoner family will receive friends Wednesday, Jan. 19, from 4 to 8 p.m., and again Thursday, Jan.
