Sarah Frances Turner, 78, a McMinnville resident and Dell Rose, TN native, was born April 27, 1942 and died March 3 at Saint Thomas Rutherford Hospital following an extended illness.

She was a homemaker, a member of the Baptist faith, and the daughter of the late Theodore and Nancy Pearl Chapman Powers. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by daughter Nancy Eve Jewell, and seven brothers.

Mrs. Turner is survived by husband, Marvin Leon Turner Sr. of McMinnville, daughter Patricia Marinelli of Gold Bar, WA; son Marvin Leon Turner Jr. of McMinnville, eight grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren.
