Roy Lee Williamson, 79, of McMinnville passed from this life on Saturday, March 26, at NHC HealthCare in McMinnville.

Roy was born Thursday, April 2, 1942 in Murfreesboro, the son of the late Jim Williamson and the late Gertrude Brandon Williamson. Roy was also preceded in death by his wife Louise Sauls Williamson.

Roy is survived by his two daughters, Brenda Scott, and Rita York and husband Michael, six grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, four sisters, one brother, and many other family members and friends also survive.

A graveside service was held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 29, at Whitlock Cemetery. Interment followed at Whitlock Cemetery in McMinnville. Online condolences may be made at gardensofmemoryfuneralhome.com.
