Roy Edwin Smith, 75, a Warren County resident and Cannon County native, was born Jan. 6, 1943 and died Dec. 5 at Saint Thomas Hospital in Nashville after a short illness.

He was a small engine repairman, a veteran of Vietnam, and the son of Bert and Clarice Smith, who preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by two sisters, Brenda Prevette and Nina Smith.

He is survived by sisters Margaret Schetter (Richard) of Madera, Calif., Lois Jean Galloway of Portland, Sharon and Edith Smith of Liberty, brother James Smith of McMinnville, and several nieces, nephews and many friends.
