Rose Marie Hillis, 66, of McMinnville died Friday, Sept. 2 at Saint Thomas Midtown Hospital in Nashville after an extended illness. She was a Grundy County native, a homemaker, devoted, loving, caring wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and mother-in-law. She was born Saturday, Dec. 3, 1949 in Grundy County, the daughter of the late Joe B. Tate and Katherine Tate.
