Ronald Wilson Wanamaker, 72, was born June 25, 1947 and passed away Sept. 11. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Woodrow and Martha Wanamaker and sister Nadyne Woodlee, all of McMinnville.

He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Priscilla Poag Wanamaker, son Kirk Wanamaker of the Cedar Grove community in Van Buren County; granddaughters Peyton Wanamaker and Alexis Wanamaker, both of McMinnville, great-grandsons Branch and Truett Conley, brothers Lanny (Barbara) Wanamaker and Hal (Brenda) Wanamaker, both of McMinnville, brother-in-law Robert Woodlee of McMinnville, sister and brother-in-law Jennie Poag (Roger) Brown of Hernando, MS; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Mr. Wanamaker was employed by Dr Pepper Bottling Company of McMinnville for 42 years. He enjoyed traveling and had a deep love for his family and co-workers. He was a member of Bascom United Methodist Church.

Visitation will be held at High Funeral Home on Saturday, Sept. 14, from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Graveside service and interment will follow at 3 p.m. in Philadelphia Cemetery in Grundy County with Rev. Paul Trammel of Bascom United Methodist Church to officiate.
