Roberta Maples Flynt, 75, of McMinnville died Friday, Jan. 3 at Saint Thomas West Hospital in Nashville. She was born Nov. 13, 1938, in Oxford, Miss., and was a homemaker and a Baptist. Mrs. Flynt was preceded in death by her parents, Lester and Jesse Rainer Maples; her son, William F. Flynt, and sister, Joann Maples McKinley.Survivors include her husband, William E. Flynt; daughter, Debbie (Brad) Scheibmeir; daughter-in-law, Vicki Flynt; brother, Lester M. (Janie) Maples Jr.; grandchildren, Jessica (Will) Grimmett, Dusty (Brandi) Taul, Melanie Flynt, Doug (Jessie) Flynt, and Alex Flynt, and great-grandchildren Braxton, Brayden, Atley, and Avery Grimmett, Zachary Davis, and Caleb and Malachi Flynt.Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at McMinnville Funeral Home Chapel.
