Robert Eugene “Bobby” Winton, 81, a McMinnville resident and Grundy County native, died May 29 at his residence following a sudden illness.He was a retired electrician with AEDC, member of Christ Community Church and son of the late Ralph L. and Bessie McGregor Winton. He was married Jan. 2, 1954 to Mary Evelyn Spangler Winton, who preceded him in death May 9, 2013. Mr. Winton is survived by son, Tim (Dawn) Winton of McMinnville; four grandchildren, Griffin, Kendall, Connor and Grace Winton; brother, Dan Winton of Florida and sister Della McKinney of Winchester.
