Statesville native Robert E. Wooden, 88, entered into rest Nov. 11 in Holiday, Fla.He is survived by brothers, Joe Wooden of McMinnville and Ralph Wooden of Roseville, Mich. He was preceded in death by brothers, Lloyd Wooden of McMinnville and J.C. Wooden of Murfreesboro; and sister, Daisy Wooden of McMinnville.Memorial services were held Nov. 16 at Meadowlawn Memorial Gardens with pastor Doug Zipper of First United Methodist Church officiating.Southern Standard (McMinnville, Tenn.)
