Rock Island resident and Grundy County native Robert “Bobby” Seals, 77, was born Dec. 28, 1937 and died July 25 at River Park Hospital following a sudden illness. Retired from Duramatic and a United States Army veteran, he was the son of the late Robert Lee and Easter Claudia Cantrell Seals. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brother, Jim Ed Seals; and sister, Nell Seals.
