Campaign resident and Cannon County native Rexford “Rex” Lee Grizzle, 82, was born Feb. 13, 1930 and died March 5 at NHC Healthcare in McMinnville following an extended illness.A retired carpenter and grocer and member of Campaign Church of God of Prophecy, he was the son of the late Hershel and Martha Williams Grizzle. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Louise Hawkins Grizzle; daughter, Patricia E. Grizzle Keyser; six brothers, Homer Roy, Clarence, Carlton, Floyd, Harvey and Dean Grizzle; sister, Edith Olene Grizzle and stepson, Gary Wayne Solomon.He was married April 12, 1998 to Magdalene Solomon Grizzle of Campaign. In addition to his wife, he is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Geraldene and Jerry Roberts of the Irving College community; two grandchildren, Pvt.
