Monroe, Mich., resident, formerly of McMinnville, Rebecca Frances Thomas, 81, died Dec. 4 at Fountain View Manor in Monroe after a short illness.A homemaker and a member of Arlington Church of Christ in McMinnville and Cork Creek Church of Christ in Plant City, Fla., she was the daughter of the late John W. and Dora Elizabeth Pennington Dixon, and was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Malen Thomas and daughter, Deborah Savage. She is survived by daughter and son-in-law, Cindy and Jimmy Vickers of Monroe; grandchildren, Jason Vickers and Kristen Vickers, both of Michigan, and Justin Savage of LaVergne, and several nieces and nephews.Services will be held at 3 p.m. Friday at High’s Chapel with Charles Pearson officiating. Burial will follow at Grange Hall Cemetery.
