Raulston Wayne Tittsworth, 72, of Hermitage, passed away May 13, 2023. He was born Oct. 22, 1950 in McMinnville to parents, Frank and Loretta Tittsworth.

Wayne served in the US Army for many years. Following his time in the armed forces, he worked as a secretary at the Clover Bottom Developmental Center in Nashville. He also served as vice president of the Filipino American Association in Nashville.

Wayne had a warm personality and was very friendly. He enjoyed making conversation with everyone. Among his “favorites” are Pall Mall cigarettes and coffee with sugar and cream. But nothing compared to the thrill of the perfect “find." He collected, bought, sold and traded vinyl LP albums; particularly of The Beatles. He enjoyed playing the drums a little but his main music love was the music on the vinyl LPs. His search for the perfect find made him a regular at thrift shops, auctions and garage sales. He loved well – was well-loved – and will be sorely missed.

Wayne is predeceased by his father, Frank Tittsworth; his mother, Loretta (Carrick) Tittsworth; and his brother, Myron Paul Tittsworth. He is survived by his loving wife of 23 years, Theresa Tittsworth; his daughter, Lydia Rachel Tittsworth; and his sisters, Beverly Tittsworth Fults and Kimberly Renee Tittsworth.

There will be a Gathering of Family and Friends on Sunday, May 21, at the Hermitage Funeral Home from 1 p.m. – 3 p.m. with a prayer service beginning at 3 p.m. There will also be a time of visitation at High Funeral Home, 101 College Street, McMinnville, on Monday, May 22, from noon – 2 p.m. Following this time of visitation, Wayne will be laid to rest in the Centertown Cemetery.
