Ralph Thompson died Feb. 10 after an extended illness. He was the son of Elmer and Isabel (Scruggs) Thompson, both deceased.He is survived by his wife, Susan (Simpson) Thompson, daughter Jennifer (Wayne) Williams, son, Jeremy Thompson, and three grandchildren, Jacob, Caroline, and Jess Williams.Mr. Thompson was born in Beersheba Springs on June 27, 1947. He graduated from Tennessee Tech University in 1969 with a degree in industrial engineering.
