Paul R. Lawson, 80, was born March 3, 1935 in McMinnville, was a Perry resident for most of his life, and died May 28 at Hospice House Cleveland.He was employed by the former Ohio Rubber Company in Willoughby for many yearsSurvivors include his son, Paul E. (Thurlene) Lawson; daughter, Kathy (Robert) Leasure; grandchildren, Andrew, Adam (Jessica) and Charles (Kathleen) Lawson, Teresa (Steve Rinehart) and Brandon (Trisha Hodge) Hobbs, Robert (Heather) and Jeremy Leasure. He has 11 great-grandchildren with a 12th great-grandchild to be born this yearHe was preceded in death by parents, Eugene and Letha Bell (Rodgers) Lawson; brothers, Vernon, Fred “Pappy,” Vester “Junior,” Estill “Doc,” Santford, Charles, Tommie and Raymond Lawson.Funeral service was held Monday at Spear-Mulqueeny Funeral Home. Burial followed at Perry Cemetery.
