Rock Island resident and Warren County native Paul Houston Timothy “Pee-Wee” Ward, 35, was born Aug. 22, 1981 and died suddenly June 10.An employee of Custom Vinyl and Purple Lion Tattoos and of the Christian faith, he was the son of Lynn Ward of Pikeville and Johnnie Moore of Rock Island.In addition to his parents, he is survived by stepmother, Laurie Ward of Pikeville; two half-brothers, Michael Ward and Adam Ward, both of Pikeville; halfsister, Lacey (Ricky) Curtis of Pikeville; maternal grandmother, Carrie Moore of Rock Island; paternal grandfather, Thurman Paul Ward of Morrison; nieces and nephews, Riley Paige Ward, Kynlee Curtis, Evelyn Curtis and Skylynn Ward; special uncles, Blue (Clara) Moore of Rock Island and Tim Ward of Campaign; great-aunt, Bill King of Rock Island; special cousins, Nathan Timmers and Ashley Cantrell, both of McMinnville, and J.J. Moore and Kateland Myers, both of Rock Island; step-grandparents, Junior and Ellen Farley of Pikeville; and several aunts, uncles and numerous friends also survive.Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, June 15, at High’s Chapel with Rev. Blue Moore and pastor Jeff Smith officiating. Burial will follow at New Union Cemetery on Hwy. 30. Visitation will be 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday, and 8 a.m. until time of service Thursday at High’s.
