McMinnville resident and Warren County native Patty Wheeler Grissom, 49, was born April 28, 1964 and died May 14 at River Park Hospital following injuries sustained in an automobile accident.A homemaker, she was the daughter of Havern and Paulette Wheeler of McMinnville. She was preceded in death by a son, Toby Edward Harper.In addition to her parents, she is survived by and son and his roommate, Andrew Grissom and Bill Cathcart of McMinnville; longtime companion, Ty Eaton of McMinnville; three sisters, Jamie Wheeler, Gail Wheeler and Barbara Wilson, all of McMinnville; brother, Tim Wheeler of McMinnville and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at High’s Chapel with Bobby Wilson officiating. Burial will follow at Walling Cemetery in Van Buren County.
