Patty Jean Brown, 74, of McMinnville died Saturday at Saint Thomas River Park Hospital.
She was a homemaker and a member of Bybee Chapel United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joe Homer and Sallie Mable Hendrixson Brown. Survivors include brother Billy Brown of Rock Island, and several cousins, friends, and church family.
The funeral was held Monday at the Chapel of Love-Cantrell Funeral Home in Smithville. Burial followed at DeKalb Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
Love-Cantrell Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
