Kennesaw, Ga., resident and Van Buren County native Pamela Gail “Beep Beep” Long, 64, was born June 15, 1955 and died Jan. 31 at Rock Island following an extended illness.
A human resource manager for Sertec Corporation and a member of the Non-Denominational Church, she was the daughter of Sally Jean Flatt of Rock Island, and the late Robert Landon Flatt. She was married to Larry Thomas Long, who preceded her in death.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by sister and brother-in-law, Sue and Rodney Willett of McMinnville, brother and sister-in-law Chris and Cheryl Flatt of Spencer, five nieces and spouse, Nakeisha and Wade McBride, Terra Smith, and Canaan Caldwell, all of Rock Island, and Brook Flatt and Lisa Beals, both of Spencer, and eight great-nieces and great-nephews, Austin McBride, Kalian Wyatt McBride, Trynity Caldwell, Maliyah Caldwell, Jacobi Caldwell, Za’ryah Smith, Cylis Cross, and Jazzimine Cross.
Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, Feb. 3, at High’s Chapel. Burial will follow at Spencer Town Cemetery in Van Buren County. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the time of service Monday at High’s. Online condolences may be made at www.highfuneralhome.com.
