Ova Yvette Key, 52, Hillsboro resident and native of McMinnville, succumbed to an extended illness and passed peacefully Monday, Nov. 30. She was preceded in death by her mother and father Louzona Conley Key and Larry Key.
Ova is survived by love of her life, Natasha Key, and son Caleb Deckard. Also survived by sister and brother-in-law, Jacqueline and Billy Gennings, brother and sister-in-law David and Joy Key, brothers Henry (Champ) and Billy Key, sisters Terisia Williams and Annette Walls and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Ova loved her nieces and nephews and they loved her! She was always the life of the party at family get-togethers.
A graveside service and interment will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 2, at Charles Creek Cemetery. Family and friends will officiate. The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m. at the cemetery. There will be no visitation at McMinnville Funeral Home as all of the family and friends will meet at the cemetery.
