McMinnville resident and Cannon County native Ollen Marshal Hayes, 87, was born Dec. 3, 1924 and died Dec. 18 at NHC Healthcare McMinnville following an extended illness.A retired employee of General Motors and lifetime member of the VFW and American Legion, he was the son of the late Isaac Lee and Dolly Sadler Hayes. He was married to Jimmie Ann Walker Hayes, who preceded him in death. In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Wilber Hayes; and two sisters, Lucille Kennedy and Geneva Gentry.
