Ned King III, 45, a McMinnville resident and Warren County native, was born Feb. 3, 1976 and died May 29 at Erlanger Medical Center in Chattanooga following a sudden illness.

He was preceded in death by mother Geraldine Scott King, brother Antonia “Tony” Scott, paternal grandparents, Erby and Maude Scott, and maternal grandparents Ned Samuel King and Frances King Brown.

Mr. King is survived by father Ned King Jr. of McMinnville, sisters Patricia Dickson of Memphis, Deborah Dillard and Lisa King, both of McMinnville, two nieces Lacreksha (Chris) Dillard of McMinnville, and Stacey Scott of New York, nephew Caspious Dickson of Memphis, and two great-nephews, Amari Martin and Ja’Markus Martin.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, June 5, at Gardens of Memory Cemetery in Warren County. No visitation will be held at High’s. Online condolences may be made at www.highfuneralhome.com.
