Murfreesboro resident and Warren County native Nancy Hallene Spangler, 79, was born Sept. 7, 1932 and died Nov. 6 at Middle Tennessee Medical Center in Murfreesboro following a brief illness. A homemaker and member of North Boulevard Church of Christ in Murfreesboro, she was the daughter of the late O.H. and Evelyn Hancock Whitlock.She was married Dec. 14, 1950 to James L. Spangler of Murfreesboro. In addition to her husband, she is survived by one daughter, Judith L. Spangler of Nashville; brother and sister-in-law, Edwin and Louise Whitlock of McMinnville; sister-in-law, Doris Whitlock of McMinnville, and two nephews, Bill Whitlock of Clarksville, and John Whitlock of Knoxville.
