Melba Joy Decker, 73, a Smyrna resident and Detroit, Mich., native was born Oct. 9, 1943 and died March 20, at Vanderbilt University Medical Center following an extended illness.She was a retired school bus driver with Warren County Schools, a member of Blues Hill Cumberland Presbyterian Church, and daughter of the late Clifford and Fannie Elizabeth Dunn Holder. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by son Bryan Patrick Campbell; and brother Allen Holder.Mrs. Decker was married Aug. 7, 2004 to Bob Decker, who survives. In addition to her husband, she is survived by children and spouses, Mark and Regina Campbell and Lisa and Randy Butcher, all of McMinnville; stepchildren and spouses, Peggy Sue and Ike Iinuma and Robert Lee and Mary Ann Decker Jr., all of Woodbury; Jeff and Becky Decker, Patty and John Miller, Diane and Ricky Campbell, Darren Decker and Tom and Cindy Decker, all of Murfreesboro, and Tammy and Sammy Boles of Beech Grove; four grandchildren, Brandi Kriebel and husband Job of Cookeville, and Hailey Jones and Brett and Bryce Campbell, all of McMinnville; sister Leota Holder Watson of McMinnville; and several step-grandchildren, step-great-grandchildren, great-great- grandchildren, nieces and nephews.Funeral service will be held at 12 p.m. Friday, March 24, at High’s Chapel.
