McMinnville resident and Warren County native Matt Brewer, 54, was born Oct. 4, 1959 and died April 13 at Prattville Baptist Hospital in Prattville, Ala., following a sudden illness.An employee of Brewer Amusement Company, he attended the Church of Christ and was the son of the late Arnold Matt and June Lance Brewer Jr.Mr. Brewer is survived by two sons, Rayce and Ridge Brewer and their mother, Kathy Brewer, all of McMinnville; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Gary and Donna Brewer, Jim Brewer and William and Monica Brewer, all of McMinnville; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Teresa and Gary Gribble of Jefferson City and Pam and Mark Shelton of McMinnville; aunts, Mildred Bailey of McMinnville and Hazel (Chuck) Bennett of Lebanon; uncle, Emanuel (Mary Jo) Brewer of McMinnville and several nieces, nephews and cousins.A graveside service and interment will be held at 3 p.m. Thursday at Grange Hall Cemetery with Doug Bost officiating. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday at High’s.
