Mrs. Mary Louise Adams Vandagriff, 85, of McMinnville, died Thursday, July 13, 2023, at NHC Health Care of McMinnville. She was born Jan. 22, 1938, in DeKalb County. Mary was a child care provider with Tennessee Preparatory School and retired from Tennessee Department of Childrens Services in March 2000. She was preceded in death by parents, T. B. and Dorothy Louise Carter Adams and her brother, Brownie Adams. Sheknew the Lord, was a member of WMU Ladies and loved to go on trips with the senior group at Gath Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Bobby Lee Vandagriff; sisters, Phyllis (Beecher) Hendrix and Brenda Wiser; sister-in-law, Willie Brown Adams; nieces and nephews, Carla (Danny) Catignani, Wendy (Richard) Knowlton, Craig (Cheryl) Hendrix, Joy (Kevin) Duvall, Mark (Karen) Adams, Veronica (Johnny) Pack, Vickie (Randall) Fuson and Mike (Debbie) Adams.

Funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday, July 17, in the McMinnville Funeral Home Chapel. Pastor Rick Stewart will officiate. Interment will follow at DeKalb Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Smithville. The Vandagriff family will receive friends Monday from 9  a.m. until 11 a.m. at McMinnville Funeral Home.
