Martha Ruth Adcock, 54, of McMinnville died Friday, June 24 at NHC-Smithville. She was born Aug. 16, 1956 in McMinnville to the late Ned Maxey and Josephine Turner Terry. Additionally, she was preceded in death by maternal grandparents, George and Laura Turner; paternal grandparents, George and Tribbie Grace Terry; and her beloved aunt, Mrs. Martha Kelsey.She was a former employee of Federal Mogul in Smithville, and a member of New Life United Pentecostal Church.She is survived by two sons, Jenry Delaney and wife Lee Ann of Manchester, and Jason Medley of McMinnville; sister, Sharon Diane Dillon and husband Drew of McMinnville; five grandchildren, Daniel Delaney, Ryan Hunter, Laura Rose Delaney, Josie Medley, and Brianna Delaney; and one great-grandchild, Gabriel Delaney; her loving caregiver, Ms. Patty Womack of McMinnville; and many cousins and friends.The family will celebrate Martha’s life as they gather at the Magness House Annex, 1511 Sparta Highway, on July 10 from 2 to 4 p.m., with Christine Archer officiating.
