McMinnville resident and Unicoi native Marie Dolberry Belford, 77, died April 20 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville after an extended illness.A homemaker and a member of Sink Creek Missionary Baptist Church, she was the daughter of the late Commodore Dawson and Nell Grace Whittimore Jones; former husband, Billy Dolberry; son, Dennis Dolberry; daughters, Emma Kay Dolberry and Billie Jean McComis; five brothers and one sister.She is survived by daughters, Ruth Ann and Vivian Sue Dolberry, both of McMinnville; sons and daughter-in-law, Ronald Dolberry of Smithville, Keith Dolberry of Toledo, Ohio, Allen and Vickey Dolberry of McMinnville; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, two grandchildren raised as her children, Marie A. Dolberry of McMinnville and Eric T. Dolberry of Toledo, Ohio; and brother, Michael Bailey of Detroit, Mich.Services will be held at 2:30 p.m. today at High’s Chapel with Kenneth Johnson officiating. Burial will follow at Palmyra Cemetery.
