Malvin Thomas Willhite, 83, of Morrison died Sunday, Sept. 22 at his residence.
Mr. Willhite was born in Sparta to the late George Lee and Mary Kate Brown Willhite. He was a past program director for Middle Tennessee Council Boy Scouts of America and a veteran of the United States Army. He was a member of Central Church of Christ.
Mr. Willhite was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Dewey Vaughn Willhite and William Eugene Willhite.
He is survived by his wife, Frances Marie Willhite; daughter, Christy Willhite Bryan (David) of Manchester; son, Thomas Mark Willhite (Christy) of Palm Bay, Fla.; daughter, Lura Leigh Willhite of Ormond Beach, Fla.; son, Tommy Grant Willhite (Patti) of Nashville; granddaughters, Anna Marie Willhite of Nashville; Laura Nicole Willhite of Palm Bay, Fla.; grandson, Jeremy Lee Willhite of Palm Bay, Fla.; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Murfreesboro Funeral Home with Ben Bailey officiating. Burial will follow at Fountain Grove Cemetery.
