Mae Agnes Jacobs, 96, of McMinnville died Sunday, Dec. 29 at NHC Healthcare Center in McMinnville.
She was born Feb. 26, 1917, in Warren County and was a retired secretary with Warren Farmers Co-op, and a member of Morrison First Baptist Church. Ms. Jacobs was preceded in death by her parents, Allen Wesley and Carrie Louella Cowan Badgett, daughter Cornelia Patton, sister Virginia Badgett, and brother John P. Badgett.
Survivors include granddaughter Janice (Mike) Powers, great-grandchildren Carrie Hylton and Kate Powers, and great-great grandchildren Chandler and Grayson Menz. Several nieces, nephews, family members, and friends also survive.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday at Bascom Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 5 to 8 p.m., and again Thursday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the parlors of McMinnville Funeral Home. Online condolences may be made at www.mcminnvillefuneralhome.com.
