Smartt resident and Warren County native Lucille Black Hudson, 74, was born June 16, 1936 and died March 30 at St. Thomas Hospital in Nashville following an extended illness.A retired supervisor with BlueCross BlueShield of Michigan and member of Bethany Church of Christ, she was the daughter of the late Herman and Minnie Wood Black.She was married Oct. 23, 1954 to H.C. Hudson of Smartt. In addition to her husband, she is survived by three children and their spouses, Carol and Mike Neal of McMinnville, Mark Hudson of Nashville, and Karen Hudson of York, Penn.; two grandchildren, Dana Neal Cheng and Jared Neal; three sisters, Shirley Starkey and Peggy Earls both of McMinnville and Betty Griffith of Smithville; and eight brothers, Benny Black, Sr., William Black, Gary Black, David Black, Freddy Black and Richard Black, all of McMinnville, John Black of Morrison and Roger Black of Murfreesboro.Funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday in High’s Chapel with David Costello officiating. Burial will follow at Gardens of Memory.
