Lola Magdalene McCaleb, 86

McMinnville resident and Warren County native Lola Magdalene McCaleb, 86, was born June 2, 1925 and died Sept. 23 at NHC Healthcare McMinnville following an extended illness.
A retired employee of Kraft Foods in Decatur, Ga., and member of Northside Baptist Church, she was the daughter of the late Petway Banks and Birdie May Anderson McCaleb. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Albert McCaleb.
She is survived by three brothers, Paul McCaleb of Sparta and Joe David McCaleb and Calvin McCaleb, both of McMinnville; four sisters, Joyce Lafever of Rock Island and Oleda Sandlin, Carol Davenport and Eleanor Simerly, all of McMinnville; several nieces and nephews and special niece and caregiver, Cindy Tramel.
Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. today in High’s Chapel with Jim Hunt and Mark Carrigan officiating. Burial will follow at Providence Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. until time of service today at High’s.
High Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
