Lisa Matney Tipps, 54 of Winchester died Tuesday, June 10, at Southern Tennessee Regional Health Systems of Winchester. She was born July 18, 1959 in Orange Park, Fla., the daughter of Richard M. and the late Flora Sue Hull. She was a very loving daughter, wife, mother, grandmother and friend, as well as a cook at Franklin County Jail and a very loving foster parent to 52 foster children.She was preceded in death by her mother Flora Sue Hull, sister Virginia K. Matney, mother and father-in-law Mary and Virgil McAllister, and nephews Larry Mayo and Landy Matney.She is survived by her husband Alton Tipps, father Richard M. Hull, daughter Jeni (Jim) Hardy, and son Ricky Tipps, all of Winchester, brothers William Fred (Debbie) Matney of Saint Cloud, Fla.; Sidney Paul (Joyce) Matney of McMinnville; Jackson Reid (Jane) Matney of McMinnville; and sister Theresa Star (Warner) Hull of Winchester; children by choice Amy Stinson (Jamie) Ocheltree; Samantha Bush (Tony) Fulmer, both of Winchester, and Jennifer Stinson (Terry) Prime of Spokane, Wash.; grandchildren Jessica Bush (David) Green; Jordan, Veronica, IzzyJo, Mackenzie, and Zachary Hardy; Ryan, Tyler, and Emma Ocheltree; Kara, Jaci, and T.J. Fulmer; Madeline and Amelia Prime; and several nieces and nephews.A celebration of life will be held at 5 p.m. Friday at Estill Springs Church of Christ, 606 S. Main St., Estill Springs, TN. Visitation is 1 to 4 p.m. Friday at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home, 300 First Avenue N.W., Winchester.
