Rock Island resident and Warren County native Linda Gail Watts, 72, was born March 13, 1951 and died March 25, 2023 at her residence following an extended illness.           

A retired employee with Tenneco, she was the daughter of Juanita Richardson Bowdoin of McMinnville and the late Julius Bowdoin. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by sister-in-law, Cathey Bowdoin.

She was married to Harold Watts of McMinnville on July 6, 1990. In addition to her husband, Mrs. Watts is survived by daughter, Amber (Joey) Young of McMinnville; step-daughter, Wendy Watts of McMinnville; grandchildren, Logan Thomison, Aiden Young and Lakeland Young; two brothers, Greg (Denise) Bowdoin and Danny Bowdoin, both of McMinnville;  best friend and cousin, Doris Young of McMinnville and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside service and interment was held at 2 p.m. Monday, March 27at Mt. Zion Cemetery in Warren County with Ray Weddington officiating. Visitation was Monday from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. at High’s.
