Lilian Van Hooser Hale, 84, of Sparta, Tennessee died Sunday, July 24 at her home. Born in Manchester, England, Lilian lived in McMinnville, where she was married to Gedion Nelson Van Hooser, who preceded her in death in 1993. She worked at Cooks in McMinnville in retail before moving to Sparta where she married Herbert Hale.
