Mrs. Lessie Mae Womack, 91, of McMinnville died Tuesday, July 31 at St. Thomas River Park Hospital.

She was born June 12, 1927, in Smithville, was a homemaker and a member of Freedom Baptist Church. Mrs. Womack was preceded in death by her parents Moses and Effie Lillian Reeder Pedigo, husband Clarence Virgle Womack, brothers Lee Allen Pedigo, Toy Ralph Pedigo, Floyd Pedigo, Lloyd Pedigo, and Norvan Pedigo, sisters Martha Ann Clemmons, Susan Ann Pedigo, and Alene Dunn, son-in-law Jodie Crick, and grandchildren Chad Sullivan and Coty Adcock.

Survivors include her children Jerry (Janice) Womack, Patricia Crick, Delores (Raymond) Moore, Sue (Paul) Thomas, Peggy (Jimmy) Adcock, and Treva (Steve) Cornett, sister Ruby Whitlock, 21 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren, and eleven great-great grandchildren. Several nieces, nephews, and family friends also survive.

Funeral service is 1 p.m. Friday, Aug. 3, at McMinnville Funeral Home Chapel. Tommy Womack and Steve Brown will officiate. Interment will follow at Gardens of Memory Cemetery. The Womack family will receive friends Friday from 10 a.m. until the time of service at the parlors of McMinnville Funeral Home.
