Leslie Arnton Hampton, 65, of McMinnville died Thursday, March 31, at Saint Thomas Rutherford Hospital in Murfreesboro. He was born Oct. 25, 1950, in Centerville, Iowa and was a retired engineer and a member of Christ United Methodist Church. Mr. Hampton was preceded in death by his wife Sandra Jean Hampton.
Survivors include his sons, Aaron (Gretchen) Hampton of Columbia and Kendall (Amanda) Hampton of Smyrna; parents, Kenneth and Roberta Hampton of McMinnville; brother, John Preston Hampton of Ft. Madison, Iowa, and his grandchildren, Jesse, Marianne, Luke, Kathyrn, and Emma Hampton.
A memorial service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 9 at Christ United Methodist Church. Rev. Ricky Lee will officiate. There will be no visitation at the funeral home as family and friends will meet at Christ United Methodist Church, 200 Chapel Drive, McMinnville, TN  37110.
