LeRoy R. Greenawalt, 74, of Morrison died Tuesday, Nov. 6 at his residence after an extended illness.He was born in Devils Lake, N.D. on Jan. 27, 1938, the son of the late Valeria E. (Madson) and Fred O. Greenawalt.He was the husband of Judy A. (Lewis) Greenawault of Morrison and was a member of Christ United Methodist Church. He worked as a factory worker and served in the U.S. Air Force in the Vietnam War era.He is also survived by daughter Cindy Pastor, of Birmingham, Ala.; two sons Bob, and wife Beth Greenawalt, of Birmingham Ala.; Don Greenawalt of California; stepdaughter, Jamie M., and husband Anthony Harbin, of Rock Island; sister, Audrey Sperling of Dowagiac, Mich.; brother, Dewayne and wife Barb Greenawalt of Goshen, Ind.; and 12 grandchildren.A memorial service will be held at Christ United Methodist Church on Saturday at 2 p.m. with pastor Lorin Pedigo officiating.
