Leon Lowe Jr., 84, of McMinnville died Friday, Nov. 30 at his residence. He was born Dec. 20, 1927, in Jacksonville, Fla., and was a retired tool and die maker with General Motors, and was a member of the Church of Christ at Earleyville. Mr. Lowe was preceded in death by his parents Leon and Pearl Wright Lowe Sr., and son-in-law Alan Hall.Survivors include his wife, Evelyn Pearl Lowe; daughters, Linda Hall and Deborah (Byron) Lewis; stepdaughters, Elizabeth Hamilton and Patricia Smartt; sister, Ophelia Carpenter; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.Funeral service is 2 p.m. today at McMinnville Funeral Home Chapel.
