Mrs. Lenora Earnestine “Tootsie” Perry, 86, of Morrison passed from this life Tuesday, April 30, at Saint Thomas River Park Hospital after a sudden illness.

Earnestine was born Wednesday, May 18, 1932 in McMinnville to the late Ruben Smith and Lillie Ethel (Fults) Smith. She was a factory worker and housewife.

Surviving are two daugthers, Brenda K. and Charles Krickel of Morrison, Millie and Delbert Layne of Palmer, three sons, Clay and Kay Perry of Bryan Texas, Bobby Perry of McMinnville, Terry Perry of Manchester, Ky., four sisters, Faye Sanders of McMinnville, Glenda Drewer of McMinnville, Paulette Rollins of Whitwell and Nena Nunley of McMinnville, two brothers, Bill Smith of McMinnville, and Nelson Smith of Ashland City, 10 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband Richard Perry, two sisters and three brothers, and one granddaughter.

Mrs. Perry will be cremated and the family will have a private funeral at a later date. Interment will follow at Philadelphia Cemetery in Grundy County. Online condolences may be made at gardensofmemoryfuneralhome.com.
