Lawrence Earl Ralph, 75

McMinnville resident Lawrence Earl Ralph, 75, died Friday, Jan. 22, at his home.


A nurseryman and member of Sink Creek Baptist Church, he was the son of Goldie Ferrell of Spencer, and the late Bill Ralph. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by stepfather Raymond Ferrell.


In addition to his mother, he is survived by three sons Lawrence David Ralph, Randy Dewayne Ralph, Chad (Melissa) Ferrell and stepson Joey (Brenda) Brannam, and one daughter Helen (Greg) Cathey, all of McMinnville. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren, six brothers, David, James (Susan), Tyrus Jr., Richard (Connie), Gary (Renee) Ferrell, all of McMinnville, and Virgil (Alvina) Ferrell of Manchester, three sisters, Sue (Ron) Dollberry, Melissa Keys, all of McMinnville, and Gladys (Robert) Johnson of Franklin. Several nieces, nephews, and cousins survive and a special thanks to Avalon Hospice for the care provided to Mr. Ralph.


Funeral service is Tuesday, Jan. 26 at 1 p.m. at Love-Cantrell Chapel in Smithville with Bro. Ryan Koegler officiating. Visitation is Tuesday from 11 a.m. till the time of the service at Love-Cantrell.


Love-Cantrell Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
