Laura Lafever, 48, beloved wife of Dan Lafever, died unexpectedly Aug. 9 at her home in Rock Island.She was preceded in death by her father, Gerald Helms, and is survived by her husband, Dan Lafever; daughters, Paige, Harley Davidson, and Geri, and son, Joe; mother, Constance Helms; brother, David; and many friends.She was Dan’s partner for life, managing the children, and assisting him in his motorcycle business. Her family’s wants and needs were always put first ahead of her own needs. She lived for her husband and children.
